All Cottages have ready-to-climb-onto beds , fully stocked kitchens, outdoor fire pits (firewood included!), your very own dock and row-boat (we rent motors too!), and Weber grills for your BBQ-ing enjoyment.

Deposit Policy
Hiller Vacation Homes, Hiller's Pine Haven Resort and Elbert’s Resort
A deposit should be made as soon as you make a reservation.
A one night’s rental deposit is required for daily rentals.
Balance of rental is due at check in.
Reservations between September 1 – May 31:
A 25% deposit is required for weekly reservations or a one-night deposit is due for daily reservations. For cancellation notices more than 30 days prior to arrival, we will refund your deposit less a minimum $25 service charge. Cancellations with less than 30 days notice will receive a deposit refund less the service charge if we can re-rent your unit or boat for the same dates and prices. Your balance is due and payable on arrival.
Reservations between June 1 – August 31:
A 25% deposit is required. Cancellations will receive a deposit refund less the service charge if your unit or boat is re-rented for the same dates and prices. Your balance is considered due 60 days prior to your arrival date, and payable upon arrival, i.e., cancellations within 60 days of arrival will be charged for the full balance of their reservation if the reservation cannot be filled for the same dates and prices. For this reason we recommend travel insurance to protect your investment in your vacation, especially for groups of three or more cottages. We do not refund for early departures or acts of God if a storm takes out the power to a rental unit.
Check-in time is 3:00 PM; Check-out time is 8:00 AM in summer season.
Spring, Fall, and Winter check out is at 10:00 AM. Early arrivals or late departures can sometimes be arranged.
Credit Card on file may be used for damage deposit/excessive cleaning fee not to exceed $1000.00 for any lodging unit and another $1000.00 for any boat or watercraft rental. Reservation holder is responsible for the condition of their lodging unit (and/or boat/watercraft rental) upon departure.  Renter accepts all costs of liability and physical damages to themselves or others with any boat, motor, cottage or home rentals during the course of this reservation. Number of renters will not exceed Party Size.
Extra persons are charged $ 15.00 per night or $ 75.00 per week
All rates subject to 10% state and local tax.
Some units are pet friendly for a $100 fee per pet during certain times of the year. Check with us for more information about pets. If you bring a pet without letting us know about it and we find it, there will be a minimum of a $50 penalty charged in addition to the $100 pet fee.

  We’ve stayed at Hiller’s Pine Haven in various cottages every year for the last 25 years. We always enjoy the resort and where it’s located. Cottage 5 was very clean when we arrived, except for the tub which still had water in it. We called and maintenance came right away and unplugged the drain. Housekeeping came again and cleaned the tub. During our stay the tub did not drain properly and is in need of repair. We will continue to stay at this resort and highly recommend the property.

  I took a solo vacation to the Northwoods to get away from everything. I wanted a beautiful, safe location to rest, read, hike and completely relax. Hiller’s Pine Haven was the perfect place. There were places to eat within easy walking or driving distance, but I admit I mostly cooked for myself in the cabin’s kitchen. (I really miss the gas stove!) The only drawback to my vacation were the mattresses: they need upgraded. Like Goldilocks, I tried every bed in the cabin and none were to my liking. Next time, I will just bring a foam topper. Will I return? 100% YES. I read 2 books in 6 days - it was a perfect vacation!

  Hiller's is our favorite resort. We have stayed here twice and plan on coming back again and extending it to two weeks. Cottage 5 was awesome, perfect location and updated interior.   Everything was excellent except for the wood provided - it was too green to burn.
  Consider replacing the pots and pans. Some are in bad condition. We had to buy some to cook. Great WIFI. Maybe a discount should be considered for this time of the year. I think we were the only ones staying here for 4 nights.
