On Little St. Germain Lake, fishing for the mighty musky is a challenge to the best of the fishermen. Once you tie into one you are hooked for good. The lake also abounds with walleye, small and largemouth bass, northern, bluegill, crappies and perch.

All accommodations have everything you need at your fingertips, right down to the cookware and dishes. Barbecue on the deck and enjoy the beauty of the lake and surrounding scenery. Wi-Fi access.

Deposit Policy
Hiller Vacation Homes, Hiller's Pine Haven Resort and Elbert’s Resort
A deposit should be made as soon as you make a reservation.


Reservations between September 1 – May 31:
A 25% deposit is required for weekly reservations or a one-night deposit is due for daily reservations. For cancellation notices more than 30 days prior to arrival, we will refund your deposit less a minimum $35 cancellation fee and up to 6% service charge. Cancellations with less than 30 days notice will receive a deposit refund less the service charge and cancellation fee if we can re-rent your unit or boat for the same dates and prices.
Reservations between June 1 – August 31:
A 25% deposit is required. Cancellations will receive a deposit refund less the service charge if your unit or boat is re-rented for the same dates and prices. Your balance is considered due 60 days prior to your arrival date, i.e., cancellations within 60 days of arrival will be charged for the full balance of their reservation if the reservation cannot be filled for the same dates and prices. For this reason we recommend travel insurance to protect your investment in your vacation, especially for groups of three or more cottages. We do not refund for early departures, acts of God if a storm takes out the power, or WIFI internet outages to a rental unit.
Check-in time is 4:00 PM; Check-out time is 8:00 AM in summer season.
Spring, Fall, and Winter check out is at 9:00 AM.
Credit Card on file may be used for damage deposit/excessive cleaning fee not to exceed $1000.00 for any lodging unit and another $1000.00 for any boat or watercraft rental. Reservation holder is responsible for the condition of their lodging unit (and/or boat/watercraft rental) upon departure.  Renter accepts all costs of liability and physical damages to themselves or others with any boat, motor, cottage or home rentals during the course of this reservation. Number of renters will not exceed Party Size.
Extra persons are charged $ 15.00 per night or $ 75.00 per week
All rates subject to 10% state and local tax.
Some units are pet friendly for a $100 fee per pet September 1st- May 31st. Pets are not allowed June 1st - August 31st. Check with us for more information about pets. If you bring a pet without letting us know about it and we find it, there will be a minimum of a $50 penalty charged in addition to the $100 pet fee.

Everything was clean and in good condition. This is the third time we have stayed in Oak and have been coming to this resort every year for over 20 years.

  We love everything about coming up for this annual family vacation. We were happy to see new kitchen appliances, mainly the fridge! The old one had been very overdue for replacement. The cottage does get very hot and stuffy if it is warm outside. We did bring fans, but it is still hot. A portable air conditioning unit for the main room would be a welcome addition. Since the rates are going up a substantial amount for 2022, I look forward to seeing an enhancement such as air conditioning or a dishwasher.

  good experience, owners need to replace sofas, VERY old. We've been renting for 13 years and one new chair. For the cost and consistent increase in cost owners need to do more. Need to review exponential rising costs for a cottage with no a/c, crummy sofas, etc. Need water to be hotter please! Not hot enough to clean dishes properly.

  We love coming up to Elbert's Resort and are happy to be right on the lake. Our cabin, THE OAK could use a little updating for the price of $286 per night, however. The refrigerator shelf on the door is held closed with duct tape, the carpet is dirty and the sofas are very old and filthy. We had ants in the kitchen which was a new addition.
  This year we purchased sheets to cover the furniture as we didn't feel comfortable sitting directly upon them. The coffee maker is getting ready to die, too. Luckily, we aren't in the cottage too long as the weather was terrific. Finally, with COVID in mind, the bedding INCLUDING the blanket and bedspread should be washed in between visits vs. simply "sprayed with a viral killer". I believe the owner family should consider investing in 2 sets to swap out.

  Wonderful cozy cabin with a great porch and view of the lake. Cabin amenities and location were great. The carpet in the main room and living furniture was very soiled. We would recommend this cabin and will probably return next year.

  We have been staying at Elbert's resort for over 20 years and love our annual tradition. The swim area is great for kids, Timbers is nice to have on site, and we love that our extended family can all be up there together. For improvement opportunities, I would like to see more maintenance of the cabin from year to year. For example, the condiment shelf in the fridge was held on with duct tape. For the price we pay for the week and as old as the fridge is, they could probably upgrade to a new fridge. I also miss that box fans used to be supplied in the cabin. We brought two of our own, but on hot summer nights there is no air flow in the cabin. The ceiling fan in the dining room shakes and rattles if turned on too high, so that didn't really help.
  
  Lastly, office staff was not clear on what was needed to hold a reservation for next year. Before this vacation was even complete, I was told I needed to put $150 down for next year, or the computer wouldn't recognize it as a reservation and would boot us out. The next day I called to put the money down and someone else told me that wasn't true and I could pay the deposit in the Fall. It would be recommended to get your office staff all on the same page.
  
  Thank you for a good vacation overall, but with the rates increasing greatly the last two years, it does make us raise our expectations overall. Thanks.

  The cabin and resort were just as pictured. The cabin was spacious and clean. The rooms were large and the beds very comfortable. It was nice having the Timbers Bar and Grill. The food was good. It was also nice having the Dollar General Store a few minutes walk from our cabin! Our main focus was fishing and the fishing was awesome!! Large blue gill, crappies, perch and bass were plentiful! We even caught nice ones off the docks! Also, we met some families who come every year and they were very friendly. We would recommend
  Elbert’s to friends and relatives. In fact, we are returning next year! We’ve been looking for a nice resort with good fishing and we believe we’ve found it! The
  staff was very helpful and pleasant. St. Germain is a beautiful Lake! Looking forward to next year!
